Welcome to the Blessed Kunjachan Syro-Malabar Catholic Mission of Staten Island, New York. This is a worshipping community of Catholics joined under the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago to foster the richness and diversity of Eastern Catholic traditions inherited through St. Thomas, the Apostle of Jesus Christ.

As an immigrant community trying to take its roots in this land of opportunity, the Mission would provide a home for everyone who looks for spiritual nourishment, social contacts, and cultural taste of Indian sub-continent in a realm of friendship and service. Directed towards the Glory of God and service to the people, the Mission will focus on the life of Blessed Augustine Thevarparampil (Kunjachan) as their role model and example for Christian faith expressions. As a community based on the Eucharist, the Mission will be a beacon of hope for the young generations in their search for love, peace, and joy.
